Formed in 2013, the duo creates moody, synth-driven pop songs with ethereal vocal melodies. Influences include Austra, Howard Jones, John Maus, Heart, Helmut Lachenmann, Man Ray, Xerox® machines, venetian blinds, indoor plants, Fujifilm Superia ISO 400 and air conditioning.
Faux Fantasy is based in Vancouver and exists everywhere.
